Ministry Across Four Nations
Across South Sudan, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Uganda, GO SETU equips leaders and serves communities through evangelism, discipleship, education, and practical support, each shaped to meet the specific needs of the country and context we’re working in.

South Sudan
Working alongside SU Leaders in Juba, we support church and student leaders navigating fragile and trauma-affected contexts.
- Supporting trauma-informed leadership trainings among students in partnership with SU Leaders in Juba.
- Offering Church strengthening support in fragile contexts by facilitating and supporting Pastors’ Conferences, especially in marriage-related sessions.
- Sourcing and providing appropriate ministry training Materials for effective discipleship, such as distributing Bibles and Evangelistic tools like the Cross Talk.
- Mentoring and supporting emerging Ministry Leaders through Education opportunities, such as sponsoring Student leaders through Theological Education and linking others to opportunities that enlighten their ambitions.
Ethiopia
In partnership with SU Ethiopia, we prepare emerging leaders and strengthen school-focused ministries through mentorship, training, and biblical worldview education.
- Preparing emerging leaders through mentorship, discipleship, and ministry trainings through Conferences and workshops in partnership with SU Ethiopia.
- Partnering and promoting Biblical worldview trainings among Youth leaders by visiting schools for ministry engagements and seminars.
- Sourcing and providing appropriate ministry training materials, such as Bibles, Values Education Curriculum, etc., for effective discipleship.
- Collaborating and linking school-focused ministries with potential donors and supporters by writing project proposals to probable donors and foundations.
- Mentoring and walking alongside Christian Leaders and Pastors of various Church denominations in understanding and running Children and Youth Ministries using resource materials we have access to, like KidStory, Max7, Devotionals, etc.


Tanzania
Through partnerships with organizations like Maxwell Leadership School and Scripture Union of Tanzania, we equip leaders and mobilize youth for ministry across the country.
- Facilitating leadership equipping conferences with Maxwell Leadership School and coordinating mentorship networks that multiply ministry through mentees.
- Mobilizing youth for mission by distributing Bibles and evangelism tools like Crosstalk and Welcome to God’s Family in local languages.
- Sourcing and providing ministry training materials, including printing and sponsoring the Values Education Curriculum, and training church leaders in children’s and youth ministry programs like KidStory and Max7.
- Training implementers and student leaders through Scripture Union of Tanzania to teach values education classes in school classrooms during the school term.
Uganda
In schools and refugee settlement camps hosting South Sudanese communities, we minister through four core areas: evangelism, discipleship, values education, and life skills training.
- Reaching students and refugees through evangelistic school visits, gospel missions, and Jesus Film screenings.
- Strengthening Scripture Union Bible clubs, training Christian teachers and student leaders in servant leadership and discipleship, equipping pastors and church leaders to run children’s and youth ministries, and using gospel tracts and discipleship materials to root refugees in the Christian faith.
- Teaching values education classes in school classrooms during the school term and running day, weekend, and residential camps and conferences for students and leaders.
- Delivering HIV/AIDS prevention programming and life skills education; offering livelihood training and counseling to refugees in camps; helping refugees access income-generating opportunities and skills for survival; distributing Bibles and basic necessities like clothes, soap, sugar, and salt to refugees; and sponsoring refugee girls in school through scholarships.
